A new array extension configuration method based on nesting and minimum redundancy

چکیده

While the uniform linear array (ULA) is a well-known configuration being widely used in various practical application scenarios, it also encounters numerous challenges field of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation. Specifically, difficult for ULA to achieve satisfactory DOA estimation accuracy, especially case closely spaced sources. That because that resolvability severely restricted by its limited DOA. To circumvent this issue and further improve performance, new geometry designed. Inspired fact some sparse co-arrays can yield higher DOFs larger apertures, proposed developed nesting two or more minimum-redundant arrays dedicated way. The simulation results indicate significantly increase length virtual an improved accuracy be accepted.
